Paul D. Murphy details why his projects have been suffering from the lack of cohesive tools which entails his enthusiasm for what’s ahead with Team System. What I want to know is how did he get the opportunity to work with a recent build and how can I get on that list??? Do tell, Paul.

Rob Caron posts an initial list of Team System sessions at the upcoming TechEd conference in Orlando. I really hope I get the opportunity to attend this years TechEd. Unfortunately I think the only way to make it is through some sort of invite. At my current employer, I’m typically only allotted one conference week per year (in which I’m not speaking) and I like to save that up for PDC. And seeing as how there WILL be a PDC this year, I might not make it to TechEd.
The only way I could possibly swing it is if I was invited to either speak (with the chances of that happening dwindling everyday) or be invited out to help out in some other way (ie. help man the product booths (I did this in the past) or help out in the cabanas). So if the Team System peeps are listening, I’m here to help!
Watch Ajay Sudan’s session on Visual Studio Team Systemfrom VSLive!/San Francisco. Ajay does a great job taking a trip through some of the different components of Team System including the creation of twoWeb Services using theApplication Designer of VS Team Architect and validating that those web services fall in line with the constrainits defined by the Logical Data Center Designer. Ajay continues his demo by creating a work item to address a bug found during his deployment scenario in the Logical Data Center Designer and using the VSTS testing framework to create some unit tests for testing some of his code.
I won’t spoil the rest of the demo for you, go watch it for yourself..
Congratulations to Mr. ClickOnce, Brian Noyes, and his wife Robin on the birth of their first child, Nathan.
