Building Windows Presentation Foundation Applications
Windows Presentation Foundation is the next-generation unified presentation graphics subsystem for Windows Vista and Windows XP. It consists of a display engine and a managed code framework. Windows Presentation Foundation unifies how Windows creates, displays and manipulates documents, media and user interface, enabling developers and designers to create visually stunning, differentiated user experiences that improve customer connection. This session will showcase how to use the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application model, its navigation and layout systems, and other features to build a rich client application with immersive UI.
Using Data Binding in Windows Presentation Foundation
This session discusses the basics of binding and the power of styling and templating in WPF, while maintaining a clean separation between your data and presentation layer. We will discuss element data binding, Object and Xml data binding and data templates all within the context of Windows Presentation Foundation.
