Some interesting items have been presented in Windows 7. However, I would like to see if Microsoft can innovate more. The Windows Vista experiment failed me and others miserably. That particular Operating System reminded me of Windows Millennium Edition (ME). I find the world of Microsoft .NET as a step in the right direction. As a C# ASP.NET developer, I would have loved to see more code examples for Windows 7. Microsoft, in my opinion, needs to take it up a notch.

Despite some driver issues, your explanation of Windows 7 was very useful. I have already install Windows 7 and am really amazed by its blazing performance. Because of some difficulties in Vista search (restricted by filenames), I had a bit low expectations, and was very skeptical, negative, and critical of the “Federated search” you were so passionately explaining; but after speedy and painless migration, I was amazed with the fast and accurate result I got even on my un-indexed network drives!! It is really impressive and cool — even my desktop background automatically changes after about half an hour when I get bored!!
